The lovely Tapas bar is in my neighborhood (it’s just across the street). Ite wonderfully not touristy.

I’ve been a number of times and always enjoyed it. They have an extensive range of dishes most of which can be ordered as a Tapa or a full racion.

Juan Luna is on a hidden square in the new town.

Authentic Spanish and no tourists! We are very happy to come back here and enjoy the tapas again and again. I was pleasantly surprised by the inclusion of queso de cabra on the menu. We can’t even resist the fall-off-the-bone ribs!

Expect traditional tapas with a few specials thrown in. If you like croquettes, this is the place for you, as they have 6 or 7 types to choose from.

The Location

Taberna Juan Luna is situated on a hidden square in the newer side of Estepona.

Although it’s not that well known, especially by tourists it’s easy to find and only 5 minutes from the beach.

They are open every day except Tuesday. Their opening hours fluctuate, so check their social media before visiting.
