The lovely Tapas bar is in my neighborhood (it’s just across the street). It’s wonderfully not touristy.

I’ve been a number of times and always enjoyed it. I love the Tapas here, but they also do some yummy bigger plates.

You must try the Mini Burgers, especially the prawn one.

Juan Luna is on a hidden square in the new town.

The perfect place for tapas.

Nos encantó lo diferente de sus mezclas de sabores,destaco de la cena de ayer el tartar de atún estaba increíble aliñado.
La mini hamburguesa con mermelada de tomate riquísima.

Amazing, original dishes at great prices. The goat cheese medallions, puff pastry, mini beef burgers, cod fritters, and empanadas are highly recommended. Reservations are a must as it’s very popular.

The Food

Expect traditional tapas with a few specials thrown in. They have big plates too. The food is very good value, tasty and well presented.

The Location

Taberna Juan Luna is situated on a hidden square in the newer side of Estepona.

Although it’s not that well known, especially by tourists it’s easy to find and only 5 minutes from the beach.

Close to the old town and beach
Large square where children can play

They are open every day except Tuesday. Their opening hours fluctuate, so check their social media before visiting.
