I’ve been to this Mexican a couple of times and enjoyed it on both occasions.
The food is authentic Mexican and always served with a smile. The staff are a Mexican family and they’re always friendly and welcoming.
To complement the food they have a good selection of Mexican beers and Taquila. Highly recommended!

Unfortunately, the food just didn’t quite deliver. Some things were okay, but overall it felt like something was missing. The guacamole was fine but nothing memorable. The taco plate came with three very small tacos and… that’s it. No beans, no rice, no sides. For the price, it felt underwhelming.
The flautas were drowning in cottage cheese, which really overpowered everything else. The enchiladas were alright, but again, nothing that made us want to rush back.
Would I return? Maybe, but now I know to expect just average food at slightly above average prices. Still, props to the team for great service.
When ordering Jalisco Birria= ask for cheese! When plain you miss out on the frying of the tortilla,the glacing and crunch,the cheesy saltiness and an nice cheese-pull.

This Mexican restaurant is situated in a lovely square with a fountain.
You’ll find it at the end of Calle Real, the main street that runs across Estepona Old Town.
They are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.
Its often very busy so make sure you reserve a table before visiting.
