MaduBar is my mum’s favourite restaurant in Estepona. It has a lot going for it – Great food in a beautiful plaza.

MaduBar is one of our favourite restaurants!

It’s situated in Plaza de Dr Arce which is a quaint square just off of Plaza de las Flores, right in the middle of Estepona Old Town.

I’ve been to MaduBar a number of times both for breakfast and dinner and every time I’ve enjoyed it. The food is of very high quality and they offer a good selection of dishes with each one drawing inspiration from different parts of the world.

If you’re looking for good food in a wonderful setting MaduBar is a good choice – and it’s not as expensive as it looks.

A good restaurant with a variety of excellent dishes on offer!

The restaurant is located in a cozy little plaza, and the service was excellent! Unfortunately, the food was very average. It lacked seasoning and spices. Prices were also in the higher end.

We saw the menu and decided to try it. We loved it. Nice place, friendly service, and delicious food. We’ll be back because we want to try everything on the menu 😊

We tried this place as we read it had good vegan options. And it DID!! Sooo many healthy and vegan options which is a nice break from the heavy (yet worthwhile) eating you would do on a Euro trip. We had the vegan meatballs which we divine, and the quinoa bowl. The vegan brownie is one of the best desserts we had on our entire trip. Only downfall was in the room we sat in, the fan did not work and there was no air conditioning, so we were sweating buckets. No better than outside. They also didn’t have takeaway cutlery which would have been useful.

Excellent dinner and amazing atmosphere. Staff were great, food was impressive and would highly recommend.

The Food

MaduBar have a good variety of dishes on their menu. They call themselves a “fusion” restaurant so expect to find dishes that draw inspiration from all over the world.

Everything I’ve had here has always been presented well and tasted delicious.

The Location

MaduBar is in the pretty Plaza Dr Arce right in the center of Estepona old town.

They have plenty of tables outside but you may need to reserve one during the summer as it can get busy.

On rainy days they have seating inside. They are open everyday apart from Sunday.
