Avacodo is ok. Personally, I think the food, and sometimes the service lets it down.

They have a large selection of great-looking tapas. Unfortunately, they don’t always deliver on taste and enjoyment. The Tacos, for example, are actually just bad.

This place used to be called Vitin and was considerably better than it is now.

The best thing going for it is that it’s on the wonderful Plaza de las Flores which is a delightful place to sit regardless of how good the service and food. ?

Not worth going out of your way for.

What we like

  • Good location
  • Nice ice cream
  • Lots of covered tables

What we don’t like

  • The food isn’t very good
  • Service can be slow
  • Not always very clean
  • Overpriced for the quality

Who can say no to sitting in the sun and enjoying delicious tapas? I had the chicken empanada (it was Argentina week) and we also got the patatas arrieras (with garlic shrimp and mayo) along with an avocado toast.
Only regret is not ordering a small glass of white wine.

Our waitress Esperanza was so very sweet.

We love this place! Always come here when I’m Estepona

Mediocre – the owner asked for more information below so here it is: classic case of we have a nice location and we don’t care about the food place. The tastes were just average and when one of us ate one piece of the oxtail dish that comes in two pieces, it was still frozen. When we said it was frozen, they took it back and brought only one back. That shows a lot about their attitude towards their customers.

The Food

Unfortunately, the food is quite expensive and not always very good.

They do have a good selection of things but choose carefully.

  • Tapas selection
  • Rations and plates too
  • Good ice cream selection
  • Cakes and Donoughts

They have a nice ice cream selection in the summer. However, you can find better Ice Cream in Estepona.

The Location

This Café in the main square of Estepona, Plaza de las Flores.

It’s in a central location and very easy to walk to from most places in the town.

  • Lots of outside seating in a beautiful square
  • Some inside space
  • Covered tables that are sheltered from the sun and the rain.

They are open all day until midnight.
