ℹ️ During the summer tolone can be very busy! They may also not stay open as late as 2am in the winter.
🌧️ There is some inside space at Tolone so it’s a good place to go when it’s cold and wet – especially as they have a good selection of hot chocolate!

Tolone is one of my favorite places to get coffee and cake!
It’s in a great location and you won’t find homemade sweet things like Tolones anywhere else in Estepona.
If you’re looking for something more boozy they have one of the biggest cocktail menus in the town!
On the downside, they can get very busy, especially in the summer, which can negatively affect the service. My advice: be patient; it’s going to be worth it!
You have to try Tolone – you won’t be disappointed.

Before or after a visit to the beach, for dinner or a late-night snack, this is always the right place.
🏴 Tolone is the embodied paradox of bars.
I say this as someone who has been here three times in January and now three times again in June… So yes, we keep coming back.
The restroom? A disaster. But hey, at least there is one.
The staff’s friendliness? Only trace amounts detected. And once you sit down, prepare to wait at least 5–10 minutes before anyone even acknowledges your existence.
And now comes the “but”:
But why rush in Spain, the homeland of siesta?
But the place is so packed with guests they can barely keep up.
But it’s right here on the beach with a breathtaking view.
To be honest, none of this would be enough to keep us coming back — and now we arrive at the essence of the ambivalence I mentioned earlier:
But that damn Moroccan tea…
That delicious fresh-squeezed orange juice…
That massive selection of alcohol…
And, of course, the fact that I can enjoy my cigar without being kicked out.
Conclusion?
Of course I’ll keep coming back, even though I know nothing will ever change — because their Moroccan tea has somehow become a part of my life.
The Food
Tolone has a limited food menu but that doesn’t mean it’s not good!
Expect simple things like Nachos and Quesadillas.
If you have a sweet tooth, you’ll be very happy to here as the cakes and cookies are amazing!
The Location
Tolone is on one my favorite squares, Plaza Ortiz.
At night this square comes alive as the restaurants start to get busy. You also get views of the beach from here as they have tables on the Paseo too!
The only problem is that it can be windy here. Tolone is open every day from 9:30am until 2 am (in the summer)
