I love to catch the evening sun in Estepona.
A great way to make sure you get some rays and you can enjoy a nice cold drink is to find a comfortable rooftop bar.
Unfortunately, there only seem to be three of them in the center of Estepona (if I’m wrong, please leave a comment and let me know!).
Rootop bars in Estepona
The Old Town Hotel is my favorite rooftop bar in Estepona. Its not too well known so doesn’t get too busy so you’re guaranteed to find a comfortable seat.
The views might not be quite as good as those of Hotel El Pillar, but they are still pretty amazing.
This really is an amazing roof bar. Loads of seating and views of Plaza de las Flores, the mountains, church towers and more make this the roof top to experience.
Unfortunately, everyone else has the same idea, so it can be very busy. Make sure you arrive quite early to ensure you get a seat, or expect to wait.
The service here can also be slow, especially when it’s busy.
On the plus side, they have a good selection of drinks, including cocktails. If you’re hungry they have a tapas menu which is pretty decent – I really like the gyoza!
This one is a new find for me, and I’ve got to say I was impressed!
The roof terrace at Veranera is perfect – great views, a plunge pool, a bar, and a laid-back vibe make it an enchanting place to spend some time.
As you relax on a sun lounger and enjoy the views, you’ll be sure to make some new friends and be guaranteed to meet some fun and interesting travelers.
There are three delightful places to spend an evening—and they’re all within walking distance of each other, so you can do all three in one evening!
