My parents have stayed here a number of times and they absolutely love it.

It’s very luxurious.

The rooms are big, well-equipped, and cleaned impeccably. This, combined with helpful, attentive services, makes it a lovely place to stay.

The hotel also has four restaurants and two bars, including a rooftop bar with jaw-dropping views of Estepona.

If you can afford it, it’s certainly worth a stay. If not, be sure to check out the roof bar anyway.

Looking for a place to base ourselves for two nights before visiting Ronda and Setenil, we chose Estepona, and within the city limits, we stayed at El Pilar. This is an excellent hotel in the heart of the city. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the staff is very friendly and full of recommendations for restaurants and other things. We arranged an in-room massage with the staff, and everything was perfect! Parking is available just steps from the hotel on the seafront. Excellent experience.

An excellent hotel, clean, comfortable, wonderful beds and linen and very good ensuite bathrooms. The staff are always friendly and helpful and speak English.
Very reasonable prices out of the main holiday season ( eg. early December, late January.)
Breakfasts are varied and delicious, great tapas and a good bar (Cooper’s)

Have been visiting Makako restaurant and the rooftop bar here since El Pilar opened. the views from both are excellent.
We’ve also stayed a few nights and standards are extremely high. The staff are brilliant: friendly, helpful and attentive. It’s worth the money, especially if you’re new to Estepona.
The location on Flores is unbeatable. Can’t wait to try the new hotel next to it when it opens.
