Lekune

Lekune was a restaurant that had always been fantastic, a Marbella landmark. Since the change of ownership, it’s gone from bad to worse. The pintxos (small plates) have lost a lot of quality, they’re getting smaller and smaller, and the prices have skyrocketed. But the worst thing, without a doubt, is the staff. They’re incredibly unfriendly, speak to you curtly and rudely, and ignore half your requests. I had to ask for a glass of water five times, and they never brought it. I went to the bar to ask for it, and they scolded me quite rudely for asking there. I explained that I wasn’t owed water at the table, and even then, they said they’d bring it, but it never arrived. We had to ask for the bill six times, almost 35 minutes to get it. They’re clearly overwhelmed. It’s a real shame because it was a place I loved, and I don’t think I’ll be going back.
