My parents have stayed here a number of times and they absolutely love it.

It’s very luxurious.

The rooms are big, well-equipped, and cleaned impeccably. This, combined with helpful, attentive services, makes it a lovely place to stay.

The hotel also has four restaurants and two bars, including a rooftop bar with jaw-dropping views of Estepona.

If you can afford it, it’s certainly worth a stay. If not, be sure to check out the roof bar anyway.

Arrived late, tired and laden with luggage having driven down from London. Received a warm welcome and cool drinks while we checked in. This set the whole positive tone for our visit.

We stayed in a room with terrace and jacuzzi. The electric toilet was a marvel and will now look to invest in one for home. Everything was clean and well thought out.

Breakfast was a delight each morning.

The hotel is ideally located in the heart of the Old Town and the warm welcome extended throughout the staff.

We will be back for sure.

Much to my regret, I can’t recommend this hotel for several reasons. It’s located in the city center, which means you won’t get much rest (a lot of street noise). But the worst part is the poor hygiene in the room. The bathtub had hair in the drain, and the most disgusting thing was seeing small, cockroach-like insects crawling around the room. I can’t say this is the case in all rooms because I only stayed in one, but I’m sharing my experience here in case my review is helpful. It’s a lovely hotel with high-quality finishes, but I can’t return until they fix the overall cleanliness issue.

We didn’t stay but we did have drinks on the roof top terrace which was a fantastic experience. It is lovely up there with great views of the square and also a lot of Estepona. The staff were very friendly, not pushy and the drinks were good value when I expected them to be ‘posh Hotel’ prices. So good that we went there again on our holiday!

This hotel is right in the center of Estepona Old Town, on Plaze de las Flores

An excellent hotel, clean, comfortable, wonderful beds and linen and very good ensuite bathrooms. The staff are always friendly and helpful and speak English.
Very reasonable prices out of the main holiday season ( eg. early December, late January.)
Breakfasts are varied and delicious, great tapas and a good bar (Cooper’s)

Have been visiting Makako restaurant and the rooftop bar here since El Pilar opened. the views from both are excellent.
We’ve also stayed a few nights and standards are extremely high. The staff are brilliant: friendly, helpful and attentive. It’s worth the money, especially if you’re new to Estepona.
The location on Flores is unbeatable. Can’t wait to try the new hotel next to it when it opens.
