Paralelo 36 is a functional bar right on the seafront. I’ve visited it a few times, but only for a drink, I’ve never tried the food here.

It does drinks well however, with a large outside seating area, a great view of the Mediterranean Sea and good service. My favorite time to visit is in the early evening as you can catch the last of the days sun and you’ll often find one of the best street performers in Estepona playing.

Great for a beachfront drink and some evening sun.

We ordered 2 cokes, and that was the last time we saw the waiter, more people came to the table, in a whole hour and 60 minutes, no one, I repeat no one came to ask if they were going to have something or if we wanted something else, Disastrous terrible service towards the customer, the worst is the manager with the PDA, who doesn’t even say thank you, very uptight but zero professionalism, the dark-haired waiter with glasses, the best and friendliest with the customers, what annoys me the most, I am a professional waitress and I don’t understand how someone in charge can run a terrace without even saying good afternoon. I hope you improve, with love from the neighbor from the restaurant next door.

Went to have a nice experience on beach front for a drink and a bite to eat last night was not a good reception when barstaff just look at you and no greetings at all make you wait and had to raise my hand for waiter to come over no menus giving nothing barmade didn’t even know what jamesons was order 1 drink then seen we were ignored completely we left and went to Rick’s bar across the road were great fast and efficient

It just doesn’t look like the place to eat. It’s a bar!

The Location

The location is the best thing about the place. Right on the front next to a delightful square.

There are lots of tables outside, but it’s often busy, especially in the summer. When it’s busy the service can suffer too.
