Paralelo 36 is a functional bar right on the seafront. I’ve visited it a few times, but only for a drink, I’ve never tried the food here.

It does drinks well however, with a large outside seating area, a great view of the Mediterranean Sea and good service. My favorite time to visit is in the early evening as you can catch the last of the days sun and you’ll often find one of the best street performers in Estepona playing.

Great for a beachfront drink and some evening sun.

Disgraceful, unprofessional, and rude.
After waiting 20 minutes to be served with very little to do, the waiters were joking around at the bar, so we had no choice but to leave because no one was attending to us. And the waitress had walked past our table a couple of times. Now winter’s coming, and you really know how to take care of your customers!

Mis tardes eran buenas cuando íbamos en familia todas las tardes, pero luego de que las pulgas se apoderaron del lugar ya decidimos ir nunca más , me gusta muchos los animales pero creo que cierto lugares no son aptos para perros espero que el dueño tome medidas con Respeto y que la gente deje de humanizar a sus mascotas

The service leaves much to be desired; they take a long time to bring the drinks, and to top it all off, we were the only ones on the terrace who didn’t get popcorn. They need to take better care of the customer and pay attention to those details.

Awful! Service is slow, and the food is terrible! We ordered the “guacamole”, it’s Avocado, toast without salmon. It came with Salmon, when I advised them of this, they took it back to the kitchen and took the salmon off and brought it back out. Needless to say, I couldn’t touch it. I cant stand the smell of smoked salmon. It also says served with tomato, there were two cherry tomatoes cut in half. The service was very slow to even get a menu, they took our order wrong the first time and only brought out half the order. The yoghurt with fruit came with 4 small slices of banana, one strawberry cut in quarters and 4 very small slices of kiwi. We will not return & do not recommend.

It just doesn’t look like the place to eat. It’s a bar!

The Location

The location is the best thing about the place. Right on the front next to a delightful square.

There are lots of tables outside, but it’s often busy, especially in the summer. When it’s busy the service can suffer too.
