I only discovered this place recently after visiting the wonderful art studio next door.

I was told it was the place for breakfast so I had to stop by for breakfast and was seriously impressed.

The place was busy but still had a really relaxed, modern vibe—and the staff were super friendly.

I had a tasty breakfast, followed by one of the best cheesecakes I’ve had in a while. Light, creamy, and just the right amount of sweet.

Add in a great coffee and it turned into a pretty perfect morning. Definitely a spot I’ll be going back to.

A wonderful place for brunch. You must try it!

The Food

The have a really good range of food for both breakfast and lunch.

You’ll find English Breakfasts and healthy salads so your sure to find something you like

You have to try the cheesecake. It’s soo creamy!

The Location

Umami22 is in the port, along the top row of cafes and shops.

There a lots of tables outside and in but expect to find them occupied as Umami can get very busy

We went there this morning for breakfast. I think we got lucky that when we arrived there were plenty of tables free. Later it was very busy.
It was wonderful, the coffee was good and the presentation of the food excellent. Interesting choice of breakfast on the menu, with my wife going for the ‘best smoked salmon croissant’ she had ever had. I had the scrambled eggs served with sausage and bacon.
We will be back again.
