Bar La Palma was one of the first restaurants that I visited when I first came to Estepona around 20 years ago – and I still visit it now.

ℹ️ In the evening the kitchen doesn’t usually open until 8pm. You should be able to get a Tapa before 8pm though.

?️ There is lots of inside space at La Palma so it’s a good place for coffee, breakfast or lunch when it’s raining.

La Palma is a classic restaurant. It’s been in Estepona for a long time and I’ve been enjoying it for many years. It’s nothing fancy but the food is good, the service is efficient and the prices are affordable.

They serve all your usual Spanish favorites including a good choice of fish and meat dishes.

If you’re looking for some good Spanish food at a good price you can’t go wrong. It’s situated just off Egg Square on Calle Terraza so it’s in a great spot and it’s easy to find.

One of my favourites. You can’t go wrong with La Palma.

We ate at La Palma and left very satisfied. We ordered breaded calamari, Malaga-style fried fish, Russian salad, and octopus salad; everything was delicious, without a single complaint. The fried fish was perfectly cooked, crispy, and not too oily, and the salads were fresh and well-dressed.

But what surprised us from the start was the bread, freshly baked and buttered. One of those small details that makes all the difference even before the first course arrives.

The service was exceptional, the kind you really appreciate—friendly and attentive without being intrusive.

And the bill was very reasonable; for the quality of the food, the value for money is more than fair.

If you’re in Estepona and looking for good fried fish and authentic Malaga cuisine, La Palma is a must-visit.

The Food

The food in La Palma has always been good in my experience. Expect traditional Spanish dishes cooked well.

Bar La Palma is open all day so you can get Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

The Location

Bar La Palma is located in the center of Estepona, just off Egg Square (Plaza Antonia Guerrero).

It’s on Calle Terraza which is a pedestrian zone so they have plenty of tables out the front.

They are open everyday apart from Monday from early in the morning until late in the evening.
