La Palma is a classic restaurant. It’s been in Estepona for a long time and I’ve been enjoying it for many years. It’s nothing fancy but the food is good, the service is efficient and the prices are affordable.

They serve all your usual Spanish favorites including a good choice of fish and meat dishes.

If you’re looking for some good Spanish food at a good price you can’t go wrong. It’s situated just off Egg Square on Calle Terraza so it’s in a great spot and it’s easy to find.

One of my favourites. You can’t go wrong with La Palma.

Expensive prices for the half portion sizes and they don’t serve tapas

Typical Spanish restaurant. Well attended, varied menu, clean and excellent value for money.

Enjoyed our meal here. They recommend you call ahead if you want to order the paella or else it can be a wait if an hour or more. We had the pargo (seabream) fish and a half order of grilled chicken. It was all very nice, only that the price for the fish was surprisingly high and I think more than at other comparable restaurants. They charged us 60 Euro for the fish, served as a dish for two. That price seems very excessive for what it was. We’ve had fish for two at other places and paid significantly less.

The menu is mostly limited to seafood items.

My wife and I went here for lunch on Saturdsy afternoon. When we went inside the staff told us there was no room inside, so we were offered a table outside which we were happy with.
Wy wife ordered Sea Bass and I Grilled Prawns. When the food arrived my prawns were not shelled or cleaned. I tried shelling them myself with no success as they were small and rubbery.
The waiter offered to take them away and shell and clean them. When they returned the were chilled but you could see a black line along the bottom of the prawns. I explained I cannot eat this as it will sicken me. He just put his hands up on the air and walked away. I had to leave them.
I asked for the Bill…. when it came the Prawns were on it at full price and the Ses Bsss was on it at Euro 38. I asked the Waiter was the price for the Sea Bass correct, he replie, yes…. There was no price on the Menu for this item and also for other fish dishes. So look out… I asked if there was anything he could for me considering I could not eat my food and he just put his arms in the air. This lunch cost me Euro 64.50. Expensive considering no Starter, Desert or Coffee

Very unhappy with this place, a bad experience….
