I love this place.

It’s not like anywhere else in Estepona. Expect friendly, welcoming staff that serve great value Venezuelan food like Empanadas, Arepas and Fried Chicken.

I got here a lot, sometime just for a light snack and other times for a full meal. I’ve always enjoyed it. If you’re looking for something different then you won’t be disappointed.

You have to experience Carambola!

This was my first time at this place; I’d heard great things about it, so my expectations were high. I’m giving a thumbs up for the little we had—three things for breakfast—and they were all fantastic, especially the fritter, which tasted like it came from a Colombian café. Kevin and his father own the place, and in my opinion, they’re doing a great job. Congratulations on the cleanliness of the place; we loved the decor and Kevin’s warm welcome. We’ll definitely be back for lunch so I can give a more substantial review.

The food at Carambola is Venezuelan so expect a selection of your favorite South American foods.

The food is not expensive and served quickly.

It’s mostly finger food but served in a way that it’s easy to eat without getting your hands too greasy

The Location

Carambola is on Calle Terraza, the central street that runs through the heart of the old town.

It’s easy to find and situated near the Ochidarium.
