Chiringuito Paco

One of many

One of my favourite Chiringuitos in Estepona. I’ve been coming here for well over 10 years and it never fails to disappoint. Good food, good service and a wonderful location. Perfect for families as it’s on the beach and close to the playground.

I love Chiringuito Paco. I’ve been visiting here with my family for many years.

Expect the usual Chiringuito things like Espetos, Fish, Salads and Cocktails but all done well.

They have a good menu with lots of choices, and the service is always very quick and efficient.

If you’ve going to visit a Chiringuito for a nice meal make sure you check out Paco’s

My favorite Chiringuito in Estepona!

We ate here one evening at the end of April 2026. Not a good experience. I ordered octopus from the bbq. I love octopus, but a risky choice? It definitely was that night! I could only eat a small amount at the thinner end but even that was far too chewy & so I left most of it. Nothing about the meal was remarkable. I had asked for the octopus to be plain with no seasoning, but I would say it had been brushed with a bbq dressing (which I hate!). The service was terrible & no-one came to check on us after our food was brought to the table. The only time anyone asked about our meal was when they were clearing our plates away. When I said the meal was not good & that it was far too chewy (I would even say it wasn’t cooked properly at the fat end), I was not even given an apology, but merely excused as luck whether the octopus is chewy or not – sometimes it’s ok & sometimes not!! I would have thought the best way to cook octopus would be to braise until tender & then finish off on the bbq.
Tip to all – don’t have the octopus!

We were lucky to get a table on the covered terrace. It was ideal given the slightly chilly evening temperature. The paella was excellent, the service was good, and the staff were very pleasant! Thank you!

We ate with our feet in the sand and the girls playing next to us. The fish was excellent, the paella superb, the service quick, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The bathrooms were clean. Highly recommended!

The Food

The food at Paco’s is really good.

The main event is the seafood selection they have with lots of fresh fish that can be cooked on the fire.

They also offer some meat dishes and kids options

  • Lots of fish and seafood options
  • Good paellas and rice dishes
  • Late breakfast is available
  • Lots of ice creams (great for kids)

They also offer a range of desserts and have a big ice cream selection.

The Location

Of course it’s on the beach!

It situated right in the middle of Paseo just at the end od Av. Juan Carlos. It’s perfect for kids as it’s close to the playground too.

  • Central location on the beach
  • Lots of space both inside and out
  • Close to the kids playground

They are open every day from 10am until 9:30pm. They get very busy so I recommend you reserve a table in advance.
