I really enjoyed my experience here. The Planksteak was something i’d not had before and I really enjoyed it. The burgers were some of the best we’ve had in Estepona. 🍔

The service was friendly and attentive and the inside ambiance was very comfortable.

Highly Recommended!

We sat and waited for 30 minutes before any of the waiters even came and took our drink order, this should go straight away! We made eye contact with all the waiters but no one seemed to care to help us.

After an extremely long wait our food arrived, sadly. I ordered a plank steak and asked for medium rare, it came in well done. The meat was tough and overcooked. The bearnaise sauce tasted disgusting, I suspect it is a ready-made sauce made from powder and water. Tasted very bad and had a strange consistency. Has the chef ever tasted a real bearnaise sauce? I asked what the sauce consisted of and how they cook it, the waiter shrugged his shoulders and said she didn’t know, completely indifferent. If a waiter doesn’t know and you get a question from a guest regarding the food, don’t you check with the chef in the kitchen?!

The outdoor seating looks okay, but don’t be fooled by this, a restaurant should serve good food, not nice furniture.

The Food

Expect grilled meat (although there are some vegan options available).

One of there specials is the Planksteak which is worth a try.

We thoroughly enjoyed the food although the Steak was a little chewy in places.

The Location

Situated on Avenida Esepaña Grillhouse is in a lovely location.

If you want to sit outside you can choose between the seafront or the bustling Calle Real.

Old Town beach front location
Lots of space both inside and out
Very easy to find with parking nearby

They are open everyday from 1pm to 11:30pm. Expect Grillhouse to be very busy so I recommend you reserve before you visit.
