The Grillhouse is a really nice restaurant. If you like meat you’ll like Grillhouse.
I really enjoyed my experience here. The Planksteak was something i’d not had before and I really enjoyed it. The burgers were some of the best we’ve had in Estepona. 🍔
The service was friendly and attentive and the inside ambiance was very comfortable.

Used to come here when it first opened. It was good then. Sadly not anymore.
Server tried to upsell the wine. That’s always a pet hate. We know what I want, don’t push to spend more. Server got in a mood after this as we challenged them for the upsell.
Ordered 2 fillet steaks – medium. Arrived raw. Asked them to cook more. Came back tasting of lighter fuel (classic issue if you add more coal but don’t let it burn properly). Now the sides were cold!!!
We were sat by the door which was being opened and closed (more left open) by staff who were serving diners outside. I had to get up and close it about 6-7 times myself as we were getting frozen. Should have just sat outside instead and put our jackets on..
Told the manager about the lighter fuel taste etc… anyway got the bill which was in excess of €100 for two. No acknowledgment of issues raised…
Spend about 5 months a year in this area of Estepona. Will never come back to this restaurant. It’s a sad example of what Estepona is becoming. Overpriced for poor quality. Form over substance. There are much much better restaurants at a fraction of the price with better service and atmosphere…
The Food
Expect grilled meat (although there are some vegan options available).
One of there specials is the Planksteak which is worth a try.
We thoroughly enjoyed the food although the Steak was a little chewy in places.
The Location
Situated on Avenida Esepaña Grillhouse is in a lovely location.
If you want to sit outside you can choose between the seafront or the bustling Calle Real.
They are open everyday from 1pm to 11:30pm. Expect Grillhouse to be very busy so I recommend you reserve before you visit.
