This Mexican restaurant is a true hidden gem.

Run by a friendly and welcoming family, they always make you feel like an old friend, even if it’s your first visit.

The food is fantastic and always a delight.

The one downside would be if you’re vegetarian as there aren’t many meat-free dishes to choose.

The food was spectacular, as was the service we received.
We took their advice and loved everything.
The flavors are authentic, and the value is excellent.
To finish, they served us excellent homemade desserts and a magnificent tequila.
A discovery we’ll definitely want to repeat, although we’ll do so at the new location downtown.
I wish them much success in their new location.

One of the best restaurants I’ve been to in Estepona and the best Mexican food outside my country. As a Mexican living abroad, it’s wonderful to find places like this with authentic Mexican food of excellent quality. I tried the quesadillas, tacos, micheladas, and lemon pie, and they were without a doubt the best I’ve had since living abroad. Eduardo’s service also made me feel truly at home. I highly recommend it. It’s true that authentic Mexican food can make you feel instantly happy!

Los Agaves has a small menu of authentic homemade Mexican food.

Homemade traditional Mexican food
Mexican beers and cocktails
Full of flavor, but not too spicy. You can add spice yourself
Not many vegetarian options

They have the classics you’d expect like a choice of tacos and Quessidillas but they also have more unique things like Huaraches and Tostadas.

The Location

Los Agaves is in a lovely square in the newer part of Estepona

They have lots of tables outside so you should be able to get a table.

They are open every day apart from Wednesdays.
