Los Agaves started out on the newer side of town but have now moved to the popular Calle Caridad.

Run by a friendly and welcoming family, they always make you feel like an old friend, even if it’s your first visit.

The food is fantastic and always a delight.

The one downside would be if you’re vegetarian, as there aren’t many meat-free dishes to choose.

One of the best Mexican restaurants in Estepona!

Only half the menu on offer. When we did order it was cold. Tasted awful! We sent it back the same food came back cold again!. We had to leave and go somewhere else. Worst food I’ve ever been served! Cannot express how bad! Wine was as bad. Didn’t charge for the food. Had to find somewhere else for dinner!

A wonderful place. The restaurant is run by a family with a passion for their national cuisine. It’s definitely worth visiting and trying the appetizers, main courses, and desserts. The atmosphere is friendly and the food is of the highest quality.

The Food

Los Agaves has a small menu of authentic homemade Mexican food.

Homemade traditional Mexican food
Mexican beers and cocktails
Full of flavor, but not too spicy. You can add spice yourself
Not many vegetarian options

They have the classics you’d expect like a choice of tacos and Quessidillas but they also have more unique things like Mole, Huaraches and Tostadas.

The Location

Los Agaves is on Calle Caridad in the Old Town.

They have lots of tables outside so you should be able to get a table.

Went there today after we saw your reel. They are no longer situated at the square with the trees but in the Calle Caridad. (Just opened yesterday) The food was great, the staff was super friendly and we enjoyd some Mexican beers.
