This Mexican restaurant is a true hidden gem.

Run by a friendly and welcoming family, they always make you feel like an old friend, even if it’s your first visit.

The food is fantastic and always a delight.

The one downside would be if you’re vegetarian as there aren’t many meat-free dishes to choose.

Great genuine Mexican food. Do not expect Tex Mex. This is the real deal. Great meat for bistec tacos and delicious cochinita pibil. The Quesadilla Los Agaves Is great I recommend it if you want to stay away from corn tortillas. Huge diversity of Mexican beers but also good wines and of course tequilas. Check the daily specials. The pan de elote is a suitable finish

Los Agaves has a small menu of authentic homemade Mexican food.

Homemade traditional Mexican food
Mexican beers and cocktails
Full of flavor, but not too spicy. You can add spice yourself
Not many vegetarian options

They have the classics you’d expect like a choice of tacos and Quessidillas but they also have more unique things like Huaraches and Tostadas.

The Location

Los Agaves is in a lovely square in the newer part of Estepona

They have lots of tables outside so you should be able to get a table.

5 minute walk from the beach

They are open every day apart from Wednesdays.
