MaduBar is my mum’s favourite restaurant in Estepona. It has a lot going for it – Great food in a beautiful plaza.

MaduBar is one of our favourite restaurants!

It’s situated in Plaza de Dr Arce which is a quaint square just off of Plaza de las Flores, right in the middle of Estepona Old Town.

I’ve been to MaduBar a number of times both for breakfast and dinner and every time I’ve enjoyed it. The food is of very high quality and they offer a good selection of dishes with each one drawing inspiration from different parts of the world.

If you’re looking for good food in a wonderful setting MaduBar is a good choice – and it’s not as expensive as it looks.

A good restaurant with a variety of excellent dishes on offer!

  • Closed on Sunday
  • It can be very busy, so booking is recommended

Very cozy place, felt comfortable as soon as I entered. We were warmly welcomed and given menus and something to drink. We sat inside as this place had a lot of charm. For starters we ordered smoked salmon with lovely aioli. Highly recommend. For mains we had tenderloin and lamb. The meat was cooked exactly as requested. An excellent meal. The waiter came over and stopped by to check that we had what we needed and were satisfied. The banoffee for dessert was spot on. Make your way here if you want good service and good food

The food is excellent. The menu is great and has options for meat, chicken and vegetarian. The staff is very good and attentive. The location is tops for outdoor dining. Highly recommend!

A small restaurant in a side street in Estepona’s old town. It’s located in a small square with a moderate flow of tourists. The restaurant offers fusion cuisine, with tapas and starters based on Indian spices. Extremely flavorful. Main courses include fish and meat, always with an Indian element. The desserts are homemade and amazing. The service is warm and always attentive to the guest’s well-being. They always ask for more information to ensure everything is perfect. We felt very well looked after. Thank you for a lovely evening.

The Food

MaduBar have a good variety of dishes on their menu. They call themselves a “fusion” restaurant so expect to find dishes that draw inspiration from all over the world.

Everything I’ve had here has always been presented well and tasted delicious.

  • Plenty of vegetarian and vegan options
  • Breakfast, Brunch and Dinner available

The Location

MaduBar is in the pretty Plaza Dr Arce right in the center of Estepona old town.

They have plenty of tables outside but you may need to reserve one during the summer as it can get busy.

On rainy days they have seating inside. They are open everyday apart from Sunday.
