Everything we had was delicious:
– warm pepper salad
– garlic shrimp croquettes
– garlic shrimp
– baby squid
– fried eggplant
For dessert, the mango mousse and cheesecake were very good. The one with sponge finger cake and dulce de leche didn’t impress us.
Service was a bit slow at the end when the restaurant was already full.
All the dishes were excellent without exception, impeccable service, and cheap too.
We’ve been in Estepona for four days, and this one is currently in the top spot.
The Food
Taberna Diez offers a selection of Mediterranean dishes, both traditional and modern.
I’ve not yet tried this restaurant so, but every time I walk past and catch a glimpse of the food, it always looks good.
Taberna Diez has lots of positive reviews on Google, and I can’t wait to visit.
The Location
Taberna Diez is on the wonderful Calle Reale one of the main streets through Estepona.
There is plenty of outside seating but booking during the summer is essential.
During the winter there is some tables inside.
If you need a taxi after your meal you’ll find them just round the corner on Av. España.
