We loved it!!! Central location, excellent service, and very welcoming. Ideal for walking and enjoying the streets of Estepona. You can park nearby in an underground garage. The goat cheese toasts with caramelized onions and the foie gras toasts in the photo are delicious. The salad is also worth trying. The waitresses were fantastic, very friendly, and helpful in recommending what to order. I recommend it 109%!

I went to eat with my family. We ordered a bottle of Cantarrana wine, two Russian salads with shrimp, a plate of fried octopus with guacamole, and a plate of fried eggplant.
Everything was quite delicious and perfectly cooked. The octopus was especially noteworthy. The service was excellent, both from the person who served us the wine and the waiter.
As for the atmosphere, we started dinner and it was quite empty, which was appreciated. As the evening progressed, it filled up, which we wouldn’t have minded if it hadn’t been for a child who made some rather annoying noises. Overall, the food is outstanding, although in my opinion, the price is a bit high, but this is balanced by the excellent service.

We really loved this restaurant!! It can be quite overwhelming finding somewhere to eat in estepona, but after reading reviews we found this place.

Croquettes were amazing, as well as the ham and broken eggs. We all had fish which was delicious, especially the turbot. 10/10 and we can’t wait to come back!

On top of that, the service was friendly and attentive which is rare to find in Spain at the best of times.

The Food

Taberna Diez offers a selection of Mediterranean dishes, both traditional and modern.

I’ve not yet tried this restaurant so, but every time I walk past and catch a glimpse of the food, it always looks good.

Very well presented
Not many vegetarian options

The Location

Taberna Diez is on the wonderful Calle Reale one of the main streets through Estepona.

There is plenty of outside seating but booking during the summer is essential.

During the winter there is some tables inside.

In the heart of Estepona

1 minute walk to the beach

If you need a taxi after your meal you’ll find them just round the corner on Av. España.
