Avocado

One of many

Set in the beautiful Plaza de las Flores, Avocado is mostly a tapas place but does offer other bigger dishes, cakes and Ice Creams too. The food is ok but you can find better in Estepona.

Avacodo is ok. Personally, I think the food, and sometimes the service lets it down.

They have a large selection of great-looking tapas. Unfortunately, they don’t always deliver on taste and enjoyment. The Tacos, for example, are actually just bad.

This place used to be called Vitin and was considerably better than it is now.

The best thing going for it is that it’s on the wonderful Plaza de las Flores which is a delightful place to sit regardless of how good the service and food. ?

Not worth going out of your way for.

What we like

  • Good location
  • Nice ice cream
  • Lots of covered tables

What we don’t like

  • The food isn’t very good
  • Service can be slow
  • Not always very clean
  • Overpriced for the quality

It was a wonderful meal; we enjoyed it so much that we went back for dinner another night. And by the way, our waiter Paco was a delight. It was definitely a good decision to return. Thank you for your kindness and the excellent service, Paco.

The only place in the area that had avocado for breakfast that I’ve found. The waitress named Esperanza couldn’t be more artistic or helpful. If you’re reading this, I’m the girl from Granada. Thanks, sweetie.

Situado en un lugar fantástico, la comida y el trato excelente. Nos atendió Esperanza que en todo momento estuvo muy atenta y con mucho cariño.

The Food

Unfortunately, the food is quite expensive and not always very good.

They do have a good selection of things but choose carefully.

  • Tapas selection
  • Rations and plates too
  • Good ice cream selection
  • Cakes and Donoughts

They have a nice ice cream selection in the summer. However, you can find better Ice Cream in Estepona.

The Location

This Café in the main square of Estepona, Plaza de las Flores.

It’s in a central location and very easy to walk to from most places in the town.

  • Lots of outside seating in a beautiful square
  • Some inside space
  • Covered tables that are sheltered from the sun and the rain.

They are open all day until midnight.
