Set in the beautiful Plaza de las Flores, Avocado is mostly a tapas place but does offer other bigger dishes, cakes and Ice Creams too. The food is ok but you can find better in Estepona.

ℹ️ There is limited inside space although they do have quite a lot of covered tables outside so you’ll probably be ok even if it’s raining.

?Ice Cream is only available in the summer.

Avacodo is ok. Personally, I think the food, and sometimes the service lets it down.

They have a large selection of great-looking tapas. Unfortunately, they don’t always deliver on taste and enjoyment. The Tacos, for example, are actually just bad.

This place used to be called Vitin and was considerably better than it is now.

The best thing going for it is that it’s on the wonderful Plaza de las Flores which is a delightful place to sit regardless of how good the service and food. ?

Not worth going out of your way for.

In a magnificent setting, we ordered paella without high expectations, being right in the city center. To our surprise, it was one of the best rice dishes we’ve had in a long time. The octopus was also fresh and delicious, and the waiter was very attentive and helpful. Congratulations, Avocado!

We only ordered a half portion of octopus salad and braised pork cheeks in red wine. As you can see in the photo, the octopus was cooked in oil that looked and tasted like sunflower oil. The octopus itself wasn’t anything special, and that detail detracted even more from the dish. The worst part was when the pork cheeks arrived; some parts weren’t even pork cheeks, not to mention how unappetizing they looked. We didn’t even touch them. We told the waiter, and he removed them from the bill. I’m disappointed because there’s always something wrong with our meal. In the end, we left having barely eaten.

We rested with the family. We were served by a very pleasant and energetic waitress, Esperanza. She smiled, was polite, sincere and very friendly. We ordered coffee and french fries. The coffee was delicious. The fries were very tasty, the children really liked them. The location of the restaurant is simply incredible. Near the fountain on the square, among the incredible beauty of architecture. Thank you for the excellent service.

They do have a good selection of things but choose carefully.

They have a nice ice cream selection in the summer. However, you can find better Ice Cream in Estepona.

The Location

This Café in the main square of Estepona, Plaza de las Flores.

It’s in a central location and very easy to walk to from most places in the town.

Lots of outside seating in a beautiful square
Some inside space
Covered tables that are sheltered from the sun and the rain.

They are open all day until midnight.

Siempre que voy me siento como en casa, la comida deliciosa , precios estupendo , calidad tanto en la comida como en el personal que trabaja allí . Lo recomiendo 100 por 100.
