El Capote is well worth a visit. Situated by the ancient castle it’s just a few steps from the main tourist area around Plaza de las Flores but is much more peaceful.

This place is popular with locals and the authentic Spanish tapas selection is tasty and not expensive.

If you’re looking for something a bit different be sure to try the Taco made from a Tortillita de Gambas – it’s a bit greasy but delicious!

A great place to enjoy traditional Spanish tapas

What a fantastic, authentic experience! Well priced and delicious. The restaurant has a matador theme and we met Raphael the owner who was a matador. Highly recommended for a relaxed atmosphere
