The lovely Tapas bar is in my neighborhood (it’s just across the street). Ite wonderfully not touristy.

I’ve been a number of times and always enjoyed it. They have an extensive range of dishes most of which can be ordered as a Tapa or a full racion.

Juan Luna is on a hidden square in the new town.

The perfect place for tapas.

No es un restaurante del centro de Estepona, pero nos lo recomendaron y fue un acierto: se come bien, la atención es buena y tienen en cuenta las alergias e intolerancias, así que cenamos de picoteo muy a gusto. Tartar de salchichón de Málaga (muy curioso, con tostas sin gluten), alcachofas con jamón muy tiernas, croquetas de carrillada para el no celíaco y unas bravas a su estilo fritas en aceite limpio. Añado la carta, en la que se indican los alérgenos. Todo estaba muy rico y bien presentado. Un lugar para volver

Lugar imperdible si se está de paso por Estepona. La comida estuvo muy rica, con sabores caseros y muy bien servidos.
El señor que nos atendió fue muy amable y sus recomendaciones fueron de mucha ayuda, ya que íbamos a pedir mucho más de la cuenta. Ojalá podamos volver pronto para probar más cosas.

The Food

Expect traditional tapas with a few specials thrown in. If you like croquettes, this is the place for you, as they have 6 or 7 types to choose from.

The food is great value and generally served quickly.

The Location

Taberna Juan Luna is situated on a hidden square in the newer side of Estepona.

Although it’s not that well known, especially by tourists it’s easy to find and only 5 minutes from the beach.

Close to the old town and beach
Large square where children can play

They are open every day except Tuesday. Their opening hours fluctuate, so check their social media before visiting.

Visited twice. Great food, lovely chilled atmosphere and very reasonably priced.
