REFRAIN PARENTS with babies and BIRTHDAYS. I had been going for about 3 years and was happy but I don’t know what happened to them. We were 3 couples with their respective babies. We made a reservation inside days before explaining that we were going with three strollers. When we arrived they told us that they couldn’t fit inside and that we should leave a stroller at the door, on the STREET. Then I brought a birthday cake for a 40th birthday and they told us that we couldn’t take it out, that we could keep it in the kitchen but that for health reasons we couldn’t take it out, which doesn’t make much sense and they told me that I should have said it on the phone. When I told them that I had told them about the babies on the phone and look what had happened, they responded with, “Let’s get along or else GO WITH THE BABIES.” In addition, they don’t have a baby changing table in the bathrooms either.

Taberna Diez offers a selection of Mediterranean dishes, both traditional and modern.

I’ve not yet tried this restaurant so, but every time I walk past and catch a glimpse of the food, it always looks good.

The Location

Taberna Diez is on the wonderful Calle Reale one of the main streets through Estepona.

There is plenty of outside seating but booking during the summer is essential.

During the winter there is some tables inside.

1 minute walk to the beach

If you need a taxi after your meal you’ll find them just round the corner on Av. España.
