Top Spots for Instagram-Worthy Photos
Estepona is so photogenic!
You won’t need to walk far to find some inspiration for next Instagram post!
Here’s some of our favourite spots to inspire you.
“Ruta de los Murales” (Mural Route)
Estepona’s streets are open-air art galleries.
The “Ruta de los Murales” winds through the town center, showcasing over 40 large-scale murals. Each piece tells a story or reflects a cultural aspect, making for unique backdrops for your next Instagram post.
You can pick up a map from the Tourist Office on Plaza de las Flores .
Old Town Streets
Estepona’s old town is simply gorgeous.
Take a wander around for a few minutes and you’ll be sure to find the perfect spot for a photo.
Here’s some streets that are perfect for Instagram:
Plaza de las Flores
This charming square, aptly named “Flower Square,” is a great spot to take some photos.
Visit early in the morning if you want the square all to your self or choose the evening to capture the energy of an evening out in Estepona.
You’ll also find Hotel El Pillar here, which has a Rooftop Bar that’s great for Instagram shots.
The Paseo
Estepona’s Paseo is a thing of delightful beauty. Over a mile of palm trees, plants and flowers make it unmissable.
Next to the Paseo is La Rada beach, which, on a clam day, provides an amazing turquoise and golden backdrop.
If you keep walking past the port, you’ll find Playa del Cristo, which is a great spot to capture the sunset.
Top Tip! 💡
Take advantage of Estepona’s golden hour (sunrise and sunset) for magical lighting.
Torre del Reloj
Estepona’s Clock Tower is a symbol of the town.
It’s set in a large square with tall trees and a bandstand.
If you get the angle right, you can capture the whole square with a glorious blue sky.
A Rooftop Bar
The best way to capture the skyline in your shots is on a roof – and Estepona has a number of rooftop bars that are open to the public.
I’ve actually only found three, so I would really appreciate it if you leave me a comment if you know of any. The ones I’ve been to are:
Ancla Sea Bridge
Ancla Sea Bridge is a restaurant beneath the Paseo.
Its roof serves as a lookout spot with panoramic views of the coastline and the sea.
Of course, you don’t need to go to the restaurant to take advantage of it.
The best time to go is at sunset, where you can enjoy views of the brilliant skies as the sun retreats behind the hills.
The Orchidarium
The Orchidarium is a good spot for some photos both inside and out. Get yourself next to some of the beautiful flowers or stand in front of the inside waterfall for some great shots.
Estepona offers endless possibilities for capturing Instagram-worthy moments. 🙌
