Sometimes it rains in Estepona. Not very often, but if you’re in Estepona during the Autumn or Winter you can expect a bit of water to fall from the sky. However, don’t worry you can still have a good time!

Visit the Orchidarium

The Orchidarium is certainly worth a visit if you haven’t been yet.

It hosts a huge selection of plants, including, of course, some wonderful orchids. There is also a waterfall inside, which is cool to see.

Kids and adults alike will enjoy strolling through the jungle-like environment.

They are open Tuesday to Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

On Sundays the open from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m

Tolones is a cafe/bar on Plaza Ortiz.

They have a wonderful selection of cakes, coffees, hot chocolates, cookies, teas, and more, making it a perfect place to relax when it’s raining.

Bloqueria is a great inside space for kids to hang out.

It’s packed full of Lego, including some really cool sets that would cost a fortune to buy.

You simply pay for the time that your children are in there.

Museo Arqueológico Municipal

The local archaeology museum in Estepona is worth exploring on a rainy day.

With lots of ancient exhibits found in and around the town, it’s a great way to pass the time.

It’s open Monday to Saturday and entry is free of charge 🙂

Escape from an Escape Room

A great way to spend a couple of hours is to try and break yourself out of an escape room.

Go for a bounce at Super Jump

Like the VR center you’ll find Super Jump in the Estepona Polígono.

This centre, suitable for all ages, has loads of trampolines, a bar, a cafe, and an outside terrace.

It’s also a great venue for children’s birthday parties.
