Editors Comment

I love the original Ikigai and have been visting it on an almost daily basis for coffee and smoothies.

This place is slightly different to the one on the Paseo as it has much more inside space, is situated in a more peaceful part of town and has a slightly different menu.

However, it still has the same excellent service, delicious food and friendly, welcoming service.

If you’ve not visited yet, you must try it!

If you like Ikigai on the Paseo you’ll love it here too!

What we like

  • Fresh, delicious food

A very good friend and I went here today for lunch. Such a beautiful place near to the castle in estepona. It is fairly new so all new decor and furniture. We sat outside in comfortable chairs and enjoyed ourselves for a few hours. I had a cafe latte, finished with cinnamon and touched with a tiny flower. Our sandwich of Philidelphia, advocado, smoked salmon, rocket, blueberry and cashew nuts was absolutely amazing. Finished with passion fruit cheesecake 😋 The staff were very helpful, friendly and welcoming. Thank you so much for your hospitality….x

We were about to get caught in a tourist trap, where you could get the most boring burger with the worst fries that Estepona has seen in a long time.
We continued a little away from the square and looked at reviews. Here we came across Ikigai Tribe Café. From the outside you can see a small place with nice pictures of their food selection, and with a cozy atmosphere both inside and out.
Their food was far better than anything we have had in Estepona. Poke bowl, foccacia and bagel all REALLY delicious. If this café had a branch in Denmark, we would definitely visit it again.
Sweet waitresses and good cold drinks.

I would give them 10/10 stars if it were possible!
