Ikigai is one of my favorite places to go for coffee and breakfast in Estepona. With its amazing location, high-quality food, and uplifting team, you’ll be sure to enjoy it, too!
It’s a good choice is you’re vegetarian or vegan as they have a few vegetable based options.
Ikigai is also my favorite place to enjoy a smoothie as they have a selection of some of the best smoothies in Estepona.

Unfortunately, the service was disappointing. When we arrived and asked where we could sit, the waitress replied in a rude way, saying, “Just don’t take a table for four!” We were only two people and had no intention of taking a big table. It could have been said much more politely.
Ordering food was also not pleasant. We didn’t know brunch was only served until 13:00 because we only looked at the first page of the menu where no time was written. When we tried to order at 13:06, the waiter became quite rude and kept saying brunch ended at 13:00. A little kindness would have been appreciated.
The food was okay, but nothing special. What made us uncomfortable was that the staff became extra friendly when bringing the bill and asked guests for good Google reviews. It felt a bit forced and we felt pressured.
Beautiful view and nice place, but unfortunately the service did not match the high ratings.

The Food
The food at Ikigai is great.
It always looks fantastic and doesn’t disappoint on flavour.
Made with fresh ingredients you’ll find dishes at Ikigai that you won’t find anywhere else.
The menu is mostly vegetarian although you will find Chicken and Salmon dishes.
The Location
One of the best locations in Estepona!
Situated right on the front Ikigai is in a great location.
Ikigai has plenty of tables outside beautifully made up with Hamian style parasoles
When the weather is great you’ll need to arrive early or make a reservation to ensure you get a table.
