ℹ️ During the winter La Italiana closes at 10pm. During the summer you’ll find families enjoying ice cream and cake well into the early hours of the morning.
🌧️ There is lots of inside space at La Italiana so it’s a good place for coffee, breakfast or lunch when it’s raining.

I’ve been visiting La Italiana for over 15 years and it’s still one of my favorite places. It’s probably best know and most popular for it’s Ice Cream. You’ll find a great selection of Ice Cream sundaes that you won’t find anywhere else in Estepona.
La Italiana is great value. You can pick up a breakfast of toast, fresh orange juice, and a hot drink for less than €5!
Unmissable. A staple part of any visit to Estepona!

This year, they served us ice cream with a different composition. Obviously, we told them when we tasted it. The response was, “No more flavor, we replaced it with something else.”
Well, the least we can do is say so when choosing. The result: back to the kitchen.
One out of two ice creams is good.
Before, there were three ice cream shops in this area, now they’re the only ones. Maybe the start of an answer.
It’s a shame, but we’re going to move to another area because the servers are also providing the bare minimum of service.
Once again, no Nata ice cream, every time it’s the same thing, they put yogurt ice cream thinking it’ll pass, but no, it doesn’t pass. Say it from the start so I don’t waste time waiting 😡
The Food
La Italiana is best known for sweet things, although you will find a selection of rolls and toasted sandwiches.
Great value and generally served quickly.
If you enjoy Ice cream it’s highly recommended.
La Italiana isn’t the place to for dinner but for a sweet treat or a light snack, it’s perfect!
The Location
This Café is in a beautiful square in the center of estepona complete with a fountain.
There a lots of tables outside but it’s often busy, especially in the summer. You can’t reserve so patience if required.
They are open from 9am in the morning for breakfast and in the summer go through to 1am in the morning for late night ice cream. 🍨
