There are some truly breathtaking views to be seen in Estepona.
Here are some of my favorites.
If you’re going to check these out, make sure you take some photos and share them with us!
At the end of the paseo near Carrefour
If you look out to sea from anywhere along the Paseo you’ll be sure to get a good view.
On a clear day, you can see Gibraltar and the African coastline clearly, and it’s simply stunning.
However, the ultimate view of the coastline, including a great view of the town, is down the far end near the Carrefour Hypermarket.
There are also three bars there too, so you make yourself comfortable and take it all in. 😊
Mirador Del Carmen
Mirador in Spanish means Lookout.
So it’s fair to expect some amazing views from the top of this tower, which is also a cultural center.
Don’t worry about stairs, as there is an elevator that takes you straight to the top.
It does cost €1 but I think it’s worth it.
A Rooftop bar
There are three Rooftop bars in Estepona that I know of and each one has a great view of the town and the surrounding mountains.
If you’ve only got time for one of them then you should probably go for El Pillar as it’s the tallest and offers the most spectacular views.
At the top of Sierra Bermeja
The mountain behind Estepona is Sierra Bermeja. At 1,449 meters or 4753 feet it’s a great place to get a view of Estepona, the Mediterranean and everything else!
You can drive up there so don’t worry about getting your hiking boots out (unless of course you want to!)
You’ll also find the Venta El Refugio, where you can eat. During the summer you’ll probably need to book.
On a boat
For a unique perspective on Estepona take a trip on a boat.
You can easily hire and book a trip from Estepona Port.
Know a better view? 👀
I’d love to know. Share it with us in the comments.
