Ikigai is one of my favorite places to go for coffee and breakfast in Estepona. With its amazing location, high-quality food, and uplifting team, you’ll be sure to enjoy it, too!

It’s a good choice is you’re vegetarian or vegan as they have a few vegetable based options.

Ikigai is also my favorite place to enjoy a smoothie as they have a selection of some of the best smoothies in Estepona.

The waitress was incredibly rude! I chose a spot in the sun. A square table that barely seats four. The waitress came over and asked if I was waiting for more people. I told her I was waiting for a friend. The waitress told me if there were only two of us, I’d have to sit further away in the shade. Otherwise, there wouldn’t be a spot for me. We sat next door in the sun; they were much friendlier there.

So, I’m giving the service one star! Because they never managed to place an order because I was sent away. I was already seated and took the photo below to show my friend that I’d already found a spot. As shown in the photo, there were barely two chairs on one side.

You’re not taking my review seriously with your reaction. You’re only focused on maximizing your sales by getting more customers on the patio. But if you had put in the effort, we would have ordered more and recommended you to our friends. Missed opportunity…

The food at Ikigai is great.

It always looks fantastic and doesn’t disappoint on flavour.

Made with fresh ingredients you’ll find dishes at Ikigai that you won’t find anywhere else.

Healthy
Lots of vegan options
Large selection of smoothies

The menu is mostly vegetarian although you will find Chicken and Salmon dishes.

The Location

One of the best locations in Estepona!

Situated right on the front Ikigai is in a great location.

Ikigai has plenty of tables outside beautifully made up with Hamian style parasoles

Very easy to get to

When the weather is great you’ll need to arrive early or make a reservation to ensure you get a table.

I have been there last summer, and I was extremely pleasantly surprised that I finally had a perfect coffee in Estepona.
The food, desserts, and drinks were absolutely incredibly tasty!
My daughter ate the best pancakes, and we enjoyed the sea view together!
I definitely recommend Ikigai wholeheartedly!

My first visit yesterday and I loved it. The servers are very friendly, the food is so very healthy and fresh and very well presented. The location is just perfect, almost on the beach. I would give 4/5 or 9/10 but the only reason I reserve top marks is the stalks were left on the strawberries in the porridge. Maybe they think it looks prettier but they are not edible so you have to put your fingers in your porridge to remove them.
The porridge was served with a soup spoon. This is not a complaint it is customer feedback.
I noticed there is a message on the bill stating tip not included. Its the first time I have seen this in Spain. The pricing is high end but the quality is worth it.
I will definitely be going back with friends.
